These terms govern your use of mysite-name's professional pet grooming services across England. Please read them carefully before booking any services to ensure a clear understanding of our grooming approach, client responsibilities, and the service process.

1. Service Agreement

By booking our grooming services—whether through regular appointments, specific styling requests, or emergency matting removal—you agree to these terms. Our grooming services operate in compliance with relevant animal welfare regulations and professional standards.

We provide professional grooming services through our qualified, experienced groomers across England.


2. Service Scope and Professional Standards

Our services include grooming, styling, hygiene care, and specialised treatments. We focus on providing quality grooming using appropriate techniques and products that meet current animal welfare standards.

While we perform grooming to professional standards, outcomes can be influenced by coat condition, pet behaviour, and health considerations. We provide honest assessments and use our expertise to achieve the best possible results.


3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful grooming outcomes, clients agree to:

  • Disclose any known health issues or behavioural concerns
  • Provide current vaccination records if requested
  • Inform us of any previous grooming difficulties
  • Ensure pets have had appropriate toilet breaks before appointments
  • Arrive on time for scheduled appointments

4. Pet Health and Safety

Clients are responsible for informing us of any health conditions, allergies, or medications affecting their pet. We reserve the right to refuse service or modify grooming approaches if we identify health concerns that may affect your pet's safety.

We may recommend veterinary consultation before proceeding with grooming if we observe skin conditions, injuries, or other health issues that require professional attention.


5. Appointment Booking and Confirmation

Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of booking request and are subject to availability. Service details and pricing will be confirmed before grooming begins, with any changes communicated and approved before proceeding.

Additional services identified during grooming assessment may affect pricing and completion time, which will be communicated and approved before proceeding.


6. Matting and Coat Condition

Severely matted coats may require clipping rather than de-matting for your pet's comfort and welfare. We will discuss options and obtain consent before proceeding with any necessary coat removal.

Additional fees may apply for extensive de-matting work, which will be communicated before service begins.


7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service and before collecting your pet. For regular clients, we may offer account terms with prior arrangement. Payment methods will be confirmed before service commences.

Late payments may incur additional charges and affect future booking availability. We reserve the right to require payment for completed services before scheduling additional appointments.


8. Workmanship and Satisfaction

We strive to meet your grooming expectations and welcome feedback about your experience. If you're not satisfied with any aspect of the service, please discuss this with us before leaving the salon.

We offer complimentary adjustments within 48 hours for any aspects of the grooming that may not meet agreed specifications.


9. Products and Materials

We use quality grooming products from reputable suppliers to ensure safety and effectiveness. Clients may request specific products, but we reserve the right to decline using products that may be unsuitable for professional use or pet safety.

We cannot guarantee results with client-supplied products and will advise on appropriate alternatives when needed.


10. Animal Welfare Standards

All grooming is carried out with respect for animal welfare and in compliance with professional standards. We use gentle handling techniques and take breaks as needed to ensure your pet's comfort.

We reserve the right to stop grooming if a pet shows signs of excessive stress or aggression that cannot be safely managed.


11. Cancellation and Late Arrivals

Appointments may be rescheduled without charge with 24 hours notice. Late cancellations may incur a £15 charge. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule to avoid disrupting other appointments.

We understand that plans change and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests when possible.


12. Collection Times and Late Pick-ups

Please collect your pet promptly after we notify you that grooming is complete. Late collections may incur additional charges of £5 per 15 minutes after the agreed collection time.

We maintain appropriate supervision for pets awaiting collection but cannot accept responsibility for extended stays beyond agreed times.


13. Liability Limitations

Our liability for services is limited to the cost of the grooming performed. We cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing conditions, minor clipper irritation, or behavioural issues that may arise during grooming.

We maintain appropriate insurance and follow industry best practices in our grooming work.


14. Terms Modification

We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
